    Stone-built mill terraces require a different fixing approach to brick-built housing. Stone party walls move differently, hold steel fixings differently, and respond to thermal cycling differently. Our structural detailing accounts for all of it. The result is a dormer or extension that still looks tight 20 years later — not one with hairline cracks at every junction within the first 18 months.
